Chaman Bhartiya School is a K-12 school located in Bengaluru, India. We offer an integrated curriculum up to Grade 5. From Grade 6, we offer a choice between IB-MYP and ICSE.
Chaman Bhartiya School combines academic excellence with holistic development through unique learning methodologies such as Problem-Based Learning and LEGO®️ Education. With our 1:1 iPad programme and the use of our world-class learning facilities, we develop 21st-century competencies and leadership qualities within our learners.
Chaman Bhartiya School is a Candidate School* for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Chaman Bhartiya School believes is important for our students.

The two essential questions that every human being can ask are: “Why am I here?” and “What can I do to pursue the aspiration that lies in the answer to the question?”
Asking these questions and answering them, is, of course, a personal matter. If a school wants to be relevant for children and young people of today, it must create an environment that stimulates the learners to find and pursue their passion. It must support them in developing the personal competencies that are needed.
Chaman Bhartiya is a school that focuses on nurturing the passion in every learner so that they can become a leader in their area of passion. We create a positive environment for the development of the personal and social qualities as well as skills and competencies that are crucial to be a person, a citizen and an employable person in the world of today.
We live in a rapidly changing and uncertain world. Many children and young people don’t thrive today and schools do not support them. They are not equipped with the personal and social qualities, and the competencies that are needed to be happy. More than ever, it is crucial that a school helps the learners to live and thrive and have a positive impact.
The school can only do so with a holistic approach to education. Chaman Bhartiya focuses on leadership as a concept for developing generations that can thrive in the contemporary world and that have the ambition to take on a leading role in changing the world for the better.
We believe that the school should be relevant for the learner here and now. Life does not start when school is over. We want to substitute the content and test focused school, with a school for life. We want to create a school that is relevant for the learner here and now and prepares them for the challenges of the future.

Allan Andersen
Director
Originally from Denmark, Allan has over four decades of experience as an educator; and over three decades of experience in senior administrative positions in Denmark. He is armed with an M.A. in the Danish language, literature and history as well as a Master’s in Public Administration.
He has taught the Danish language
and literature as well as communication and IT.
Geeta Jayanth
Principal
Geeta Jayanth is an experienced educator with over 24 years of experience in various fields of education. She holds three Master's degrees, including an MBA in Education Leadership from a Finnish University. Her expertise includes leadership, school administration, college counselling, and school pedagogy across various curricula such as IB, Cambridge, and ICSE. She has served on the Global Advisory Board of IE Business School, Spain, and the University of St Andrews, Scotland. As an authorized school evaluation leader for IB and the Council of International Schools, she has conducted school authorization visits worldwide.
Nishita Israni
Vice Principal
With over two decades of teaching experience spanning international schools in India and Singapore, Nishita brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of education. Her career has seen her excel in diverse roles including school administration, teacher training, and literacy coaching for both adults and students. Additionally, she has contributed significantly to online teaching and training, further enriching her understanding of the educational landscape and solidifying her reputation as a well-rounded academician.
Ranjini Sridhar
Head of Administration & IT
Ranjini Sridhar, Head of Administration & IT at Chaman Bhartiya School, has a vast experience of over 35 years in both the spheres of IT & Education. She has extensive experience in both multinationals & international schools. During her stint in corporates, she has worked in premier organisations such as Accenture & Wipro. She has worked in Datum Technology as a Senior Manager and led a team of 25 engineers to develop a tool to automate school administration. At Accenture, she has not only received awards for her performance, but also for exceeding client expectations.
Sandhya Gatti
Head of Pedagogy and Teacher Professional Development
Sandhya has been journeying the teacher education space for over three decades. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Social Work, and true to her belief in lifelong learning, she has pursued several courses to strengthen her understanding of education and life.
